Alarm Permits
City of St. George has adopted a new alarm systems ordinance concerning the regulation of alarm systems and police response to false alarms within the City. A 3rd party (PM AM Corporation) will be administering the notifications, billing (including on-line payment), collections, registration applications and processing for residential and commercial alarm systems, as well as the collection of fines and fees related to false alarms.
If you own an alarm system at your home or business, per City Ordinance 3-5-2, you must possess a valid alarm permit. For your convenience, the Administration Office at the SGPD accepts check, cash or credit card payments by mail or phone.. The cost for an alarm permit is $50.00.

Washington County burn permits are for basic yard clean up of weeds and trimmings. No trash, building materials or field burns are allowed. The burn must be in small piles and a water supply must be available at all times. Please do not leave the fire unattended at any time and if the wind comes up, you must extinguish it immediately. The fire must be out by sundown.

The Utah Department of Corrections manages the state's Sex Offender & Kidnap Offender Registry. The Department processes thousands of registrations each year and makes information about offenders available through a public database.
However, the Department is not in charge of actively registering offenders nor monitoring an offender's compliance once he or she is registered unless the offender is being actively supervised by Adult Probation and Parole. Ensuring an offender is registered and monitoring compliance is the responsibility of local law enforcement agencies.
The St. George Police Department registers and monitors offenders living or visiting St. George, who are not actively supervised by AP&P or on Parole. Radar Trailer Request
The St. George Police Department has several radar trailers that we deploy to various locations throughout the City of St. George. The locations for deployment are determined based on a number of factors which includes requests from citizens and business owners. Not every location requested can be utilized for a radar trailer due to road widths, obstacles, sight distance, etc. If you would like to request a radar trailer be deployed in a particular location (in St. George), please fill out the form below.

VEHICLE, EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATIONAL, RESIDENCE MUST BE REGISTERED W/IN 3 BUSINESS DAYS
- Phone numbers, email addresses, internet identifiers, including website name and address.
- Employment and/or Volunteering: Name, telephone number & address , SSN.
- Copy of passport, if you have one, any documents regarding offender's immigration status, professional license regarding occupation or to carry out a trade or business, including CDL's.
- Education Institution.
- Primary residence-where offender regularly resides. Secondary residence-any real property that the offender owns or has a financial interest in or any location where in any 12 month period, the offender stays overnight, a total of ten or more nights, when not staying at your primary residence.
- Vehicle, including motor, aircraft, watercraft subject to registration.
- Online/internet identifier: electronic mail, chat, instant messenger, social networking.
- Employment whether full time, part time, whether financially compensated, volunteered, or for the purpose of government or educational benefit.
