Alarm PermitsCity of St. George has adopted a new alarm systems ordinance concerning the regulation of alarm systems and police response to false alarms within the City. A 3rd party (PM AM Corporation) will be administering the notifications, billing (including on-line payment), collections, registration applications and processing for residential and commercial alarm systems, as well as the collection of fines and fees related to false alarms.

Sex Offender & Kidnap Offender RegistryThe Utah Department of Corrections manages the state's Sex Offender & Kidnap Offender Registry. The Department processes thousands of registrations each year and makes information about offenders available through a public database.

Burn Permit InformationWashington County burn permits are for basic yard clean up of weeds and trimmings. No trash, building materials or field burns are allowed. The burn must be in small piles and a water supply must be available at all times. Please do not leave the fire unattended at any time and if the wind comes up, you must extinguish it immediately. The fire must be out by sundown.
