COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT is comprised of five Divisions, these Divisions include: 

• BUILDING DEPARTMENT  - Building permits and inspections 
• BUSINESS LICENSING - For all businesses in the city including rental licenses
• CODE ENFORCEMENT - Enforcement of compliance with our codes 
• PLANNING AND ZONING - Land use and zone amendments, conditional use permits, signs, historic preservation, Hillside permits, Housing, CDBG Funds 
• SPECIAL EVENTS - Special Event requirements and permits
