Electric Theater

Located in the heart of historic downtown St. George on Tabernacle Street, we are a city owned facility that serves as a downtown anchor for the arts while collaborating with and supporting, promoting and fostering visual and performing arts groups and emerging artists, thus educating, strengthening and inspiring access and exposure to a diverse program of arts for our community.

Electric Theater

Do you have assistive listening devices?
Yes, we have Assistive Listening Devices.  Please inquire at the Box Office for information on these devices.
Do you rent out the Electric Theater for events?
It would depend on the event and date/time requested. For more information, please use the Booking Request Form to make your request.
How do I find out what's playing or coming soon?
This website is the best place for up-to-date information on upcoming events. If an event is taking place at the Electric Theatre but is not listed on the site, it either means that it is not open to the public or is being ticketed by someone renting the theatre. You can also find plenty of updates on our Facebook page.
What is your cell phone policy?
We request that all cell phones be placed in 'ringer off' mode during productions or presentations. If necessary, calls can be answered or phoned out in our lobby area, but please remember to keep your voice low as to not disturb the other patrons.
When does the box office start selling tickets?
The Electric Theater does not sell tickets for the presentations or productions in the theater. All box office ticket sales are handled by the individual organization using the theater for a presentation or performance.  Typically, tickets are available from the organization’s website or at the door.  Doors opens ½ hour to one hour before the presentation or production.
Where is your lost and found?
Our Lost and Found is located at the Electric Theater Center. For lost and found inquiries, please call 435-624-4510. We will hold lost items for 30 days and if not retrieved by that time, will then donate to charity or discard.
Where should I park?

There are numerous parking areas around the Electric Theater Center. There is a parking garage directly north across the street from the theater. There is a lot behind the theater used by cast, crew, and employees as well as adjacent businesses.
There is limited on-street parking in the area and we encourage you to use the above-noted parking garage.

Why don't you allow food or beverages in the theater?
The Electric Theater is a recently restored historic theater.  We ask that you respect the no food or beverage policy in order to help preserve the restoration.  Bottled water is allowable.
