This Half Marathon is a beautiful route through the scenic landscape of Snow Canyon State Park. The course is USATF certified primarily downhill, super fast and challenging! It is one of the most breathtaking courses St. George has to offer! 5K runners will start at Snow Canyon High School and run on the surrounding trails that finish on the High School track. Move It! Kids events will take place on the track and the surrounding areas of the High School.

Kids Race Distances: 1 Mile, 1/2 Mile, 200 Meter Dash

 

Aid Station Information:

Aid stations will be located at approximately miles 4, 7.6, 9, 10.7, 12, and one will be at the turnaround for the 5K. Water and Gatorade will be available at each aid station and Gu will be available at aid stations 7.7, and 10.7.

Bus Information:

Buses will leave from Snow Canyon High School between 6:30am and 7:30am to take you to the start line by Diamond Valley. You must ride the buses to the Start Line. Please remember that not all runners will fit inside the last bus!

Awards and Medals:

Awards will be 3 deep in each 5-year age category for Men and Women. All Half Marathon and Move It!Kids finishers will receive a finisher medallion!

 

American Flyers Race Pacers is proud to help pace the following times at Snow Canyon Half Marathon: 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:25 and 2:30. Come see the pacing booth at packet pickup and get a pace band even if you don't think you'll be by a pacer. Pre-registration is accepted until Friday, October 28th. Late registration is accepted until Wednesday, November 1nd at 5:00 pm with a $10 late fee. Registration will only be Available at the Expo--for an additional fee of $25 with no t-shirt available!! (That means it will cost you $95 to register and you won't' get a shirt, so make sure you don't miss the registration deadline!) You can mail registration to the St. George Recreation Center, 285 S. 400 E, St. George, UT 84770. Please make checks payable to City of St. George. Mailed-in registration forms must be Received by Wednesday, November 1st.

Frequently Asked Questions




Yes, to a certain point. Course will close for at 3:30 for a 16:00 minute per mile pace.
You MUST ride the bus to the start line. Buses leave between 6:30 and 7:30 am from Snow Canyon High School.
Yes, but please be respectful and courteous of the other runners around you by starting near the back of the race. Strollers MUST be fold-able to fit on the bus.
Clothing retrieval will be available at the starting line and each of the aid stations. All clothing will be brought back to the finish line for pick up.
They are discouraged because the course is open at parts but they are allowed. Please BE CAREFUL!!
