Bouldering is more than just climbing on rocks. With the help of our trained instructors, your child will learn technique and gain strength, needed to start climbing like a pro. Youth will have one on one instruction from experienced guides to move into the sport of bouldering. They will have the chance to push themselves physically and mentally on challenging problems. Please arrive 15 minutes early for first class at the St. George Recreation Center, to allow for shoe fitting.

All 4 classes will be outdoors at local climbing spots. The program leader and assistant will go over safety and basic techniques as well as get a feel for each individual’s level on the first outing. The next three classes will be spent on improving each individual’s skills based on a custom outline that fits that individual. Times and locations subject to change.

Level III Classes will focus on strength and technique building. As well as assessing and setting goals in climbing.

Non-restrictive clothing - Activewear
Climbing shoes provided (bring your own if you have them!)

Yes, in order to participate in this program you are required to sign an Adult Waiver or Youth Informed Consent Form. You will also need to fill out the online medical form.
Non constrictive active wear/clothing is recommended. Climbing shoes will be provided if you cannot bring your own.
Withdrawal/Transfer less than 7 days prior to the start date may be subject to a fee. No refunds on or after that date.
Climbing shoes, crash pads, and chalk.
