Welcome to SGO's Summer Series Mountain Biking.

This 4 day camp will explore multiple different biking locations in and around the St. George area.  Never mountain biked before? No problem!  We provide all the needed gear, instruction, and transportation to and from everyday. SGO's instructor team will spend time each class teaching the different skills needed to ride safely and ride well.  Join us for an adventure!

Class Size

Our classes are limited to a maximum of 12 students.  Each class will have 1 instructor for every 4 students enrolled.

Age Limitations

10 years and up

Class Location

Each class will start and end behind the Rec Center.  When you enter the parking lot at the Rec Center look for the white city trucks. Our instructors will be out there to meet you.

Pricing Information

$65/ Resident;  $70/ Non-Resident

 Includes bike, helmet, and transportation.

We ask that students wear clothing that is appropriate for being active in; this includes closed toed shoes for mountain biking.  A small backpack to carry at least 2 liters of water is recommended and a snack. For our watersports program we ask that all students show up with a towel and sunscreen applied.  We will be outside during the highest UV concentration of the day and sun burns are likely without sunscreen.  Any emergency supplies, such as inhaler or epi pen should also be brought and instructors should be informed of its location.

Yes. Each class has a different age limit.

Yes.  This often happens when we have storms that come through either when our class is scheduled or 24 hours before.  The heavy rains can soak the trails and rocks taking up to 48 hours to dry up, otherwise we would cause damage to them.  Our goal is to let you know at least 2 hours before class if it will be cancelled and sometimes a last minute storm will make this time frame shorter.  In the event a class is cancelled you will receive a text message letting you know of the change.

Any make up class will be scheduled for the Friday of that week.  You will receive both a text message informing you of the class cancellation and a follow up email reminding you of the make up class. If the make up class was to be cancelled, your account with the Rec Center would be credited for the cost of the missed class and can be used to sign up for future classes.

No, however we will work with you to find a class in the future that is open.  We are unable to have groups larger than 12 students on the different lands that we use for our programs.

Withdrawal/ Transfer less than 7 days prior to the start date may be subject to a fee. No refunds will be given on or after that date
