This Half Marathon is a beautiful route through the scenic landscape of Snow Canyon State Park. The course is USATF certified super fast downhill race. It is one of the most breathtaking courses St. George has to offer! 5K runners will start at Snow Canyon High School and run on the surrounding trails that finish on the High School track.
Fun Run Walk n' Roll: Open for all ages 2-18 in the Kids Division and to all ages of those with disabilities in the Adaptive Division. The distances are; 1 Mile, 1/2 Mile, 200 Meter Dash. The races will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Expo and Packet Pickup Information: Friday, November 5th- 2pm-8pm at the Dixie Convention Center.
Aid Station Information: Aid stations will be located at approximately miles 4, 7.6, 9, 10.7, 12, and one will be at the turnaround for the 5K. Water and Gatorade will be available at each aid station and Gu will be available at aid stations 7.7, and 10.7.
Bus Information: Buses will leave from Snow Canyon High School between 6:00 am and 7:00 am to take you to the start line by Diamond Valley. You must ride the buses to the Start Line.
Awards and Medals: Awards will be 3 deep in each 5-year age category for Men and Women. All finishers will receive a finisher medallion!
Time Limits: Please be aware that all athletes must finish the race in 3 hours and 30 minutes- roughly a 16-minute mile. Athletes who have not finished by this time will not have course support, the clock will be stopped and taken down, and those over 3.5 hours will receive and DNF (did not finish) in the official results.
Pacing: American Flyers Race Pacers will be pacing the following times: 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:25, 2:30.

Yes, to a certain point. Course will close for at 3:30 for a 16:00 minute per mile pace.
You MUST ride the bus to the start line. Buses leave between 6:00 and 7:00 am from Snow Canyon High School.
Yes, but please be respectful and courteous of the other runners around you by starting near the back of the race. Strollers MUST be fold-able to fit on the bus.
Clothing retrieval will be available at the starting line and each of the aid stations. All clothing will be brought back to the finish line for pick up.
They are discouraged because the course is open at parts but they are allowed. Please BE CAREFUL!!
No. Dogs are not permitted on any of our courses. If you bring your dog with the intention of having it run with you, you will be asked to leave. It's not that we aren't dog people but even the friendliest of dogs still bite and we want to ensure the safety of all of our runners and spectators. For that reason, we will also ask anyone with a dog in the finish area to leave as well.
Not necessarily. We can not give you a shirt at packet pickup as those go to who pre-registered. Check with us after the event to see if we have extra shirts. In the case we do, you can get one. They will be given out at a first come, first serve basis.
No. Discounts will not be accepted to register at packet pickup or the day of the event. In order to receive a discount, they must be used before online registration closes.
No, SGR policy states that there are no refunds. However, you may be eligible to receive a credit for a future race. A credit must be requested before the race if you miss the race you had signed up for. This request must be made ahead of time before the event. Credits will be given at the discretion of the SGR staff and are not guaranteed.
