This scenic 10k will take runners through Snow Canyon State Park, continuing throughout the neighborhoods and finish at Ivins City Park. 

Runners should meet/park at Ivins City Park and will be transported by bus to the start line in Snow Canyon. The race will start at 9:00 am. No cars will be allowed at the start line, runners must take the buses to the start line. The first bus leaves Ivins City Park at 7:15 am, the last bus leaves at 8:00 am.

There will be two aid stations available, at approximately miles 2.82 and 4.93. Water and Gatorade, as well as first aid, will be available at these locations. 

All finishers will receive a medal to commemorate the event. Awards will be given out to the top three finishers in each 5-year category for men and women. 

Packet Pickup Information

  • 5pm-7pm  Friday, March 12th, at the St. George Running Center
  • 2736 E, Red Cliffs Dr, St. George, Utah 84790
  • Packets will also be available day of where the busses load starting at 6:45am.

Each finisher will receive an SGR ShamROCK 10K medal. 

Awards will be given out to 5  year age categories, three deep, for men and women. 

There will be two aid stations on the course located approximately at miles 2.82 and 4.93. There will be water and Gatoraid available at each station. 

Baby Strollers are allowed on the course as long as you are respectful and courteous to the other runners around you by starting near the back of the race. Your stroller should also be foldable so it can be taken on the busses.

Clothing retrieval will be provided. It is available at the starting line and at each of the aid stations. Clothing will be brought back to the finish line area for retrieval.

No, runners must take the bus to the start line at Snow Canyon State Park. The last bus will leave at 8:00. 

Yes. But the maximum time limit for the 10 kilometers is 2 hours and 30 minutes. 

No. Dogs are not permitted on any of our courses. If you bring your dog with the intention of having it run with you, you will be asked to leave. It's not that we aren't dog people but even the friendliest of dogs still bite and we want to ensure the safety of all of our runners and spectators. For that reason, we will also ask anyone with a dog in the finish area to leave as well. 

Not necessarily. We can not give you a shirt at packet pickup as those go to who pre-registered. Check with us after the event to see if we have extra shirts. In the case we do, you can get one. They will be given out at a first come, first serve basis.
