Yes. Participants have 11 hours to finish the event- the race starts at 7 am and all runners must be done by 6 pm or will be removed from the course.
The support vehicle for the team can remove that team member and a new member can start running in their place. Additionally, SGR Support Vehicles will be on the course monitoring runners. If they see a runner who is not doing well, they will remove the runner and bring them to the finish line. There, another member of their team can be picked up and brought to the spot where the individual was removed to continue the event.
