The Hill Climb Challenge We’ll complete our FLEX Series with three hill climb challenges.
The Hill Climb has 2 components: You run up. You run down. Sounds pretty simple, right? Well just to keep you motivated we are going to time you both ways! Your finish time will be the total of your up and down times.
Up first in September will be a short but steep climb up Webb Hill. It's .75 miles to the top with an elevation gain of nearly 400'. Short but challenging!
In October will be the Monster Mash at Crimson Ridge Park. This 5K will feature a climb up to the back of the St. George Airport and back to the park.
We finish the FLEX with a 4.4 mile road run up Red Hills Parkway. You’ll get an easy start and finish at Dixie Red Hills Golf Course. The challenge begins at mile 1 where you climb to the top of Red Hills Parkway. Coming back will be fast and furious.
Remember your total time will be based on both up and down for all the Hill Climb Run Challenges.
