We offer everything from organized fitness classes and drop in strength training equipment to instruction in jewelry work in a fully functioning lapidary. Question: Is the Recreation Center open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day / Presidents Day / Memorial Day / Independence Day / Pioneer Day / Labor Day / Columbus Day / Veterans Day?
Answer: Yes. The only holidays that affect our hours are New Years, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. These closures vary, and will be posted here at the Rec Center the week before each holiday.

Answer: The Tri-Pack is a membership that grants admission into the St. George Recreation Center, the Sand Hollow Aquatic Center, and the St. George City Pool.

You must be at least 14 years old to use the Fitness Facility. 14 and 15 year olds must be accompanied by a legal adult 21 years of age, or older, to ue the fitness Facility.   2. No food, drinks or gum of any kind.   3. Appropriate work out attire must be worn at all times in the fitness facility. Full t-shirt must be worn when working out on any strength equipment. No shorts or pants with zippers, belts, or exposed buttons. (Note: You will be asked to leave and change if seen wearing inappropriate attire.)   4. Shoes must be worn at all times in the Fitness Facility. All shoes must have closed toes. No flip flops, sandals or slippers will be allowed. (Note: Court, running or cross training shoes are recommended.)   5. No back packs, bags, purses, coats, or personal belongins can be brought into the Fitness Facility. (Note: Rec. Center staff and management will not be responsible for stolen items.)   6. Lockers are available on a first come, first served basis.   7. Answer: Recreational vehicles may be parked on the side of your home, out of the front setback. A typical front set back is 25'. Keep in mind that a corner lot has 2 front setbacks. You can park your RV in your driveway for up to two weeks for the purpose of preparing for use.

The St. George Recreation Center Child Care has the friendliest staff in town. If you are looking for a safe fun place for your kids while you are working out or taking an aerobics class then look no further. Baby sitters are inexpensive and difficult to find. Our Child Care is full of fun toys, games, songs and friends and only costs $1.50/child! If you are a pass holder at the St. George Recreation Center then childcare is free! You can't beat our fun our safety or our price!    Childcare Hours   Monday  9:00am - 11:30am 5:30am - 7:45pm   Tuesday 9:00am - 10:30am 5:30 - 7:45 pm   Wednesday 9:00am - 11:30am 5:30am - 7:45pm   Thursday 9:00am - 10:30am 5:30 - 7:45 pm   Friday 9:00am - 11:30am   Saturday No child care available   Child Care Costs For those having a 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month pass, the first 2 children are free. Center childcare staff is happy to be able to offer a place where your children can be happy and busy while you are working out in our facility Because we want your children to enjoy their time here and want the program to continue to run smoothly, we would like you to be familiar with our policies and procedures as follows: 1. Registering: Parents must sign children and parent(s) names on the sign-in/sign-out sheet. Please fill the sheet out completely before you leave to work out. Child must be signed out by the parent who signed the child in, unless arranged previously with one of the staff.   2. Time: Childcare is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-11:30am; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-10:30am; Monday-Thursday 5pm-7:30pm.   3. Age Limit: Childcare is offered for children that are 6 months to 7 years of age.   4. Prices: Childcare is free for up to 2 children to anyone who has purchased a 3, 6, or 12 month premium pass and only if that person is in the facility at the same time children are being watched. Otherwise it is a $1.50/hour a child.    5. Food in the Playroom: Please feed your children before coming to the Rec. Center to work out. We try to have water and crackers on hand, but that is it. Babies with bottles are O.K. Please label the bottle with the child's name. NO GUM PLEASE!   6. Toys Brought from Home: We will not be responsible for any toys brought from home. If a child brings a toy PLEASE make sure that it isn't too small or sharp that a child can swallow or hurt themselves or another with it.    7. Children in Diapers or Potty Training: Before you leave your children in the Rec. Center playroom make sure that your children have gone to the bathroom or are wearing clean, dry diapers. If your children need to be changed or needs to use the rest room and still requires assistance one of our staff will come and find you. For health reasons, parents please dispose of diapers in our outside garbage cans. The nearest one is outside the front door. Thank you.    8. Returning Children to Parents: if your child bites or causes injury to another child they will be returned to you. If your children continue these aggressive behaviors they will be suspended from the Rec. Center playroom. If your children cry for more than ten minutes or appear to be ill, our staff will return them to you. Children who misbehave beyond reasonable control will also be returned to you.    9. Parents MUST remain in the facility while their children are being left in the Rec. Center playroom.    10. Each child must have a kid's card from the front desk. Children will not be permitted without a Kid's Club Card!   11. No sick children   12.
