The Patrol Division is the heart and soul of the St. George Police Department. It is the largest and most recognizable Division within the Police Department. If you have ever had contact with officers from the St. George Police Department, odds are that it started with an officer from this Division. Patrol Officers are called upon as the primary responder to most calls for service. When not responding to calls for service, Patrol Officers conduct traffic enforcement, address quality of life issues, and conduct foot patrols through various locations around town. Patrol Officers are scheduled around the clock, every day of the year. Along with responding to citizens’ calls for service, and officers’ proactive patrol work; St. George City’s Community Action Teams (C.A.T) are coordinated through the patrol division. Community Action Teams are divided into regional areas within St George City. Officers are assigned to those areas to help you with any issues or questions you may have. You will become very familiar with the uniform officers of this Division if you take an active role in your area Community Action Team. These officers are eager to work with you to improve the quality of life in the neighborhoods that affect you most.
