It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Officer Adam Ashworth. Ofc. Ashworth passed away at St. George Regional Hospital on July 22, 2021, from complications due to Covid-19. He began his career with St. George Police Department in September of 2011. During his career he spent the majority of his time in the Bicycle Patrol Unit and most recently serving as a patrol officer. Adam was a member of the Public Order Team, served on the department Honor Guard, and worked as a Field Training Officer where he trained several police officers. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Bobbi Anne, their three children and the entire Ashworth family.
Officers from the St. George Police Department, as well as other police agencies throughout Washington County, will have the privilege to participate in an Honor Watch over Officer Ashworth until the time of his funeral. Details regarding his funeral are being arranged and will be shared on social media.
