ADDENDUM TO THE CITY COUNCIL AGENDA

OF THE CITY OF ST. GEORGE,

WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH

Public Notice

Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a regular meeting in the City Council Chambers, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, on Thursday, March 5, 2020 commencing at 5:00 p.m.

The addendum to the agenda is as follows:

1.    Consent Calendar.

a.    Consider approval of a Development Agreement for Woodland Estates Townhomes to delay construction of amenities for this multiple family development.

BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION:  The developer proposes to delay construction of the amenities for this multiple family project until construction of the next phase of the project. If approved, the developer will be able to get certificates of occupancy for the units in phase 1A only. The amenities will have to be constructed before any additional certificates of occupancy are granted in any future phases of the project.  Staff recommends approval.

b.    Consider approval of a Master Sign Development Agreement for the Planned Development Commercial area called The Foundry, including the Riverwoods Mill and Henriksen-Butler buildings.

BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION:  The Developers of this three-lot planned development commercial project have requested two signs for the 3-lot subdivision. The request makes sense at this location given the shared accesses for the three lots. One sign will be a multi-tenant sign for the businesses on all three lots, thus requiring a sign agreement.  Staff recommends approval.

2.    Appointment of an Interim Police Chief.
