NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE

MUNICIPAL BUILDING AUTHORITY

OF THE CITY OF ST. GEORGE,

WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH

                       

 

                                                                  Public Notice

 

Public notice is hereby given that the Municipal Building Authority of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a regular meeting in the City Council Chambers, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, on Thursday, December 5, 2019, commencing on or about 5:00 p.m.

                                                             

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

 

1.            Public hearing to receive public input regarding (a) the issuance and sale of not more than $15,000,000 aggregate principal amount of lease revenue bonds, series 2020 and (b) any potential economic impact that the improvements, facility, or property financed in whole or in part with the proceeds of the bonds may have on the private sector; and related matters.

 

BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION:  As a follow-up to adopting the Parameters Resolution on November 14, 2019 for the issuance of Lease Revenue Bonds through the Utah Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB) for the City Campus Expansion project, the MBA is required to hold a public hearing and receive public input regarding the bonds and the project(s) being financed by the bonds.

 

2.            Consider approval of the minutes of the Municipal Building Authority meeting held November 14, 2019.
