NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE

MUNICIPAL BUILDING AUTHORITY

OF THE CITY OF ST. GEORGE,

WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH

                       

 

                                                                  Public Notice

 

Public notice is hereby given that the Municipal Building Authority of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a regular meeting in the City Council Chambers, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, on Thursday, November 14, 2019, commencing on or about 5:00 p.m.

                                                             

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

 

  1. Consider approval of a resolution of the Municipal Building Authority of the City of St. George, Utah (The “Authority”) authorizing the issuance and sale of not more than $15,000,000 aggregate principal amount of Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2020; and related matters.

 

BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION:  This resolution, agreements, and indentures are the documents which outline the parameters and provide the authority for the City and the Authority to issue bonds to fund the City Offices and Police Building Headquarters remodeling and expansion projects. The bonds parameters are 1) bond limited to $15 million, 2) term no more than 25 years, 3) interest rate no to exceed 5%, and 4) bonds not to be sold at less than 97% of principal amount. (The City is currently approved for a CIB 20-year CIB Bond at 2.5% rate.)

 

2.    Consider approval of the minutes of the Municipal Building Authority meeting held June 20, 2019.
