                                                                  Public Notice

Public notice is hereby given that the Neighborhood Redevelopment Agency of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a regular meeting in the City Council Chambers, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, on Thursday, August 1, 2019, commencing on or about 6:00 p.m.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1.            Consider approval of the transfer of real property located at approximately 60 W. St George Blvd, parcel SG-459-B-CB, and 70 W. St. George Blvd, parcel SG-459-A-CB, from the City of St. George to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of St. George.

BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION:  The Redevelopment Agency of the City of St. George wishes to receive two parcels of real property to accommodate future re-development in the downtown area and agrees to a promissory note for future payment.  The Inn at St. George and the Bicycle Collective are currently located at this location.  Staff recommends approval.

2.            Public hearing and consideration of a resolution to review and approve amendments to the Fiscal Year 2019-20 Budget for the Central Business District CDA.

BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION:  The City's General Economic Development Fund currently owns two properties (Bicycle Collective building & Inn at St. George Hotel) which are located within the Central Business District CDA. The properties are more suited to be owned by the Central Business CDA; however, the Fiscal Year 2019-20 budget for the Central Business District CDA will need to be increased to allow for the purchase of two properties by issuance of an interfund loan payable to the City.

3.            Consider approval of the minutes from the meeting held on June 20, 2019.
