ADDENDUM TO THE CITY COUNCIL AGENDA
OF THE CITY OF ST. GEORGE,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a regular meeting at the St. George City Office, City Council Chambers, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, on Thursday, November 1, 2018 commencing at 5:00 p.m.
The addendum to the agenda is as follows:
1. Consider a request for continued support and sponsorship of the downtown street festival for the 2019 season.
BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION: The organizers of the event would like to request a general approval of continued support and sponsorship of $2,000 per month and in-kind services (road closures, power connections, use of the city stage on Main Street) for the event for the 2019 season. Event organizers are changing their organizational structure and name of the event. During the 2018 season the organizers worked well with city officials, staff, and officers and the event was highly successful. A request for local consent for the beer garden will be submitted later. Staff recommends approval.
