TRAVEL TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS FOR SITE VISITS:
The Councilmembers travelled to the following locations for site visits:
● Pedestrian bridge and trail located at 1224 South River Road.
● Fields at Little Valley located at 2350 East Horseman Park Drive.
● St. James Park located at 741 St. James Lane
● Green houses located at 950 South 390 East.
● Sandtown Park located at 600 North Bluff Street
Following the site visit, the Councilmembers returned to the Administrative Conference Room for the remainder of the meeting.
City Attorney Shawn Guzman mentioned the reader board on Bluff Street. He explained YESCO installed a new reader board on the Dixie Center for the City. Further, they agreed to give the City a larger reader board for approximately $41,000, half of the typical cost.

Jeriah Threlfall, Executive Director of the St. George Area Economic Development presented a PowerPoint presentation covering the following topics: St. George Area Economic Development; Fulltime Staff; Board Members; 2018 Focus Area; Interactive Website: Industry Mapping Tool; Current Business Recruitment Projects; Recent Business Expansion Projects; Nontraditional Projects; New Members: 2017; Summit Financial Review; ROI – Business Recruitment and Expansion Projects; and Annual ROI – Property Taxes Collected.
Councilmember Arial left the meeting.

Planning & Zoning Manager John Willis presented a PowerPoint presentation covering the following topics: Goals; Aerial Map; Article F Residential Central City Zone; 10-7F-3 Development Standards; Downtown Land Use Inventory; Architectural Design Standards; Harvard Ave and 1100 East, SLC; Architectural Design Standards; Current Design Standards; 10-7F-4: and Architectural Design Standards.

MOTION: A motion was made by Councilmember Hughes to adjourn to a closed session to discuss a potential property sale.
SECOND: The motion was seconded by Councilmember Randall.
