Public Notice

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a meeting in the City Council Chambers, 175 East 200 North, St George, Utah, on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, commencing at 5:00 p.m.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. FINAL PLAT

Consider a final plat request for “Silver Cloud Drive” a private roadway dedication plat, Serving the ‘Ledges’ located at approximately 1900 West and 5000 North on the west side of the west UDOT roundabout (on the west side of the SR 18) in the NE ¼ of Sect. 27 and NW ¼ of Sect. 26, T41S, R16W, SLB&M. Mr. Roger Bundy is the representative. Case No. 2010-FP-020.

2. LOT SPLIT

Consider a lot split request to legally divide one parcel into two for property located on the north side of 3670 South between Little Valley Road and Bentley Road. The existing lot is 7.378 acres (321,386 square feet). The proposed parcels would be; Parcel 1 = 3.106 acres (135,297 square feet) and Parcel 2 = 4.272 acres (186,089 square feet). The property is zoned RE-37.5 (Residential Estates - 37,500 square foot minimum lot size). The applicants are Ms. Linda Peterson and Mr. Corey Shamblen. Bush and Gudgell, Inc. is the representative Case No. 2010-LS-004.

3. ZONING REGULATION AMENDMENT – PUBLIC HEARING (5:00 P.M.)

Consider a zoning regulation amendment to the City Zoning Regulations; Title 10 Zoning Regulations, Chapter 7 “Residential Zones,” amending sections 10-7A-2 “Residential Estate Zones,” 10-7B-2 “Single-Family Residential Zones,” 10-7C-2 “Multiple Family Residential,” and 10-7D-3 “Mobile Home Zones,” also Chapter 8 “Planned Development Zones,” amending section 10-8-2 “Planned Development Zones,” and Chapter 5 “Agricultural Zones,” amending 10-5-2 Agricultural Zones” regarding ‘church’ as a permitted use.
