Notice is hereby given that the St. George City Council will hold public hearings on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 5:30 PM to consider the following requests:

A. Consider a zoning regulation amendment to amend the St. George City Code, Title 10: Zoning Regulations, to amend Chapter 8 Planned Development Zone to add Traditional Neighborhood Zone (TNZ) within the zoning ordinance.

B. Consider a zone change amendment for the Inn of Entrada PD (Planned Development) Lots 1-23 and Shinava Ridge PD Lots 24-39 to allow lockout short term rentals in compliance with Zoning Ordinance Section 10-14-20. Located at 2588 W Sinagua Trail and 2549 W Sinagua Trail.

C. Consider a zone change for Parcel 1 on 34.359 acres from A-1 (Agricultural) to R-1-10 (Single Family Residential 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size), a zone change for Parcel 2 on 31.890 acres from A-1 (Agricultural) to R-1-8 (Single Family Residential 8,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) and a zone change on 38.937 acres for Parcel 3 from A-1 and A-20 (Agricultural) to OS (Open Space). All three properties are generally located east of 3000 East Street and are located in the N ½ of Sections 14 and 15, T43S, R15W, SLB&M. The project is called “The Arbors Phase 4 (Hawthorn).”

D. Consider a zone change on 20.00 acres from A-1 (Agricultural) to R-1-8 (Single Family Residential 8,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size). The property is located at the SE ¼ of Sec 10, T43S, R15W, SLB&M (located at approx. 3200 East and 2840 South). The project is called “Arbors Phase 5 (Atkin).

E. Consider a request to rezone approximately 10.12 acres from OS (Open Space) to R-1-10 (Single Family Residential 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size). The project is Bloomington Country Club; create twenty-eight (28) single family lots on five parcels located adjacent to the Bloomington Golf Course.

F. Consider a request to 1)rezone approximately 5.38 acres from OS (Open Space) to PD-R (Planned Development Residential) and to 2)locate the property within the Resort Overlay. The project is Bloomington Country Club. This request would create forty-eight (48) two story condominium units with garages on one parcel located adjacent to the Bloomington Golf Course.

G. PUBLIC STREET OR RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION. Consider approval to vacate a portion of a Public street located on the south side of 250 North Street between Main Street and 100 East Street.

Interested persons are encouraged to attend these public hearings to be held in the City Hall Council Chambers at 175 East and 200 North, or present their views in writing to the City Council prior to the meeting.
