Sealed proposals will be received by the City of St. George Municipal Corporation until 3:00 PM local time (MDT) on November 12th, 2015 in the office of Purchasing, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah 84770, ATTN: Connie Hood
Request for Proposals and Technical Specifications are now available as of September 4th, 2015 for the purchase of four (4), 29' - 40' Low Floor Heavy Duty Transit buses with an option for up to 20 additional buses, as described in the Request for Proposals. This procurement will be funded using local and Federal Transit Administration funds. The successful proposer will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws. City of St. George Municipal Corporation encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to submit proposals and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
City of St. George Municipal Corporation reserves the right to reject or declare unresponsive any or all proposals, with or without cause, to waive any minor irregularities in any proposal, and to make awards in its best interest. A proposal guarantee is required from each proposer equivalent to five (5) percent of the proposal price of four (4) buses. The "proposal guarantee" shall consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying the proposal as assurance the proposer will, upon acceptance of their proposal, execute such contractual documents as may be required within ninety (90) days of the proposal due date.
