The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and provides federal funding to perform a variety of community development and housing activities in all states, qualifying counties, and in all “entitled” cities (those with a population of at least 50,000 people). The amount of money granted to a city is determined on an annual basis by a HUD formula. The following summary of the CDBG Program is intended to highlight major program requirements and considerations.
Program Year 2021, Fiscal Year 2022 Projects
The following does not include all projects and services funded by the City's CDBG budget, for a more comprehensive list of funding, please refer to the annual action plan at the bottom of the page.

Matrix-Code-Definitions Matrix codes are used to indicate—but do not establish—activity eligibility. An activity must be eligible in accordance with the regulations at 24 CFR 570.201 – 570.207.
Grantees need to refer to the regulations to determine an activity’s eligibility; the codes defined below are used in IDIS On-Line chiefly to categorize activities for reporting purposes.
Note that the matrix code must also correlate with a national objective. PDF - 04-06-2021 |
