The City Recorders office is responsible for maintaining all official City records including but not limited to:  ordinances, resolutions, minutes, cemetery documents, legal documents and historical documents.   The Recorder conducts municipal elections, attends Council meetings and provides an accurate summary of the proceedings, provides public notices as required by law and responds to GRAMA requests.  Additionally, the Recorder assists the public with concerns and schedules appointments for the Mayor.

Citizen’s comments are encouraged.  Any citizen may speak during the ‘Public Comment’ portion of a City Council meeting on the first Thursday of each month.  

Copies of City records can be requested by submitting a GRAMA request here.
