Dixie Downs Park

Dixie Downs Park underwent an extensive makeover in 2007 with the addition of a new covered pavilion with a barbecue, restroom facilities, a looped walking trail, lighting, and landscaping. These improvements were the result of the combined efforts of area scouts, a youth group, park maintenance, and park planning staff hours, and a Community Development Block Grant. This 5.7-acre neighborhood park doubles as a playground for the adjacent Dixie Downs Elementary School.
