Sherlynn Davis was born and raised in Altamont, Utah and moved to St. George to attend college. She is a dancer at heart having danced in high school, at Dixie State College, and with the St. George Dance Company.  While attending college, she had a great mentor,  Glen Blakely, and while serving as his student aid, started her on a journey of appreciating art in all of its varied forms - graphite drawings, pottery, sculpture, architecture, painting, just to name a few.  Besides the Arts Commission, she busies herself supporting her husband in his theatrical passion and raising four beautiful children.  For fun, she's fond of reading, enjoys gardening, and serves as the Manager of the St. George Dance company.  She loves St. George because of its warm climate, endless outdoor recreational opportunities, and variety of artistic culture.  She is excited and passionate about the opportunity she has to help the art culture continue to grow and thrive in this beautiful place.
