We’re celebrating National Bike Month and our recent Silver-level Bicycle Friendly Community award! Join members of the SGPD Bike Patrol and St George Active Transportation Committee for the 2nd “Roll With Patrol” community bike ride on Monday May 1st at 6:30pm.
Free hot dogs, snacks, and drinks will be served beginning at 5:45pm at Crosby Family Confluence Park, located at 1953. S Convention Center Drive.
This event is FREE and open to all, no matter your previous bicycling experience. The route follows the 5.2 mile Mayor’s Loop along the scenic Virgin River Trail system. You’ll be able to ride alongside the people who work hard to make sure we have safe and enjoyable places to ride bikes.
This year, we look forward to support from several partner organizations:
The St. George Bicycle Collective will be on site to help pump up your tires and provide any last minute, minor mechanical support.
Southwest Utah Public Health Department will be holding drawings for some cool prizes
Healthy Dixie Committee and the Utah State University Extension will be present with the “Bike Blender”, try out making a smoothie powered by you!
Southern Utah Bicycle Alliance has information regarding local bicycle advocacy efforts
