Wally Ritchie Baseball conducts camps, clinics, and lessons for young baseball players.
Wally Ritchie played professional baseball for 13 seasons and spent four seasons as a pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies. During his career, Wally was part of many teaching experiences with young players. Since his days as a player, Wally has worked with many individuals and groups, along with coaching at various levels. The coaches that instruct the youth in these events have been players and/or coaches at the high school, college, and professional level and endeavor to share what they know with young players.
The goal of Wally Ritchie Baseball is to provide an opportunity of youth to learn the fundamentals of the game of baseball, from those that have made a career out of coaching or playing the game, in an encouraging and fun atmosphere, so that the young player can more fully realize his or her potential and have the knowledge and training to advance their skills while continuing to play the game as they grow.
