Start Smart Soccer
Start Smart is a great program for parents to spend time with their children and help prepare them for future participation in youth sports. This is a Parent/Child event for 3-5 year olds. It is a developmentally appropriate introductory program for boys and girls.
Start Smart Soccer prepares children for organized soccer in a fun, non-threatening environment. The first week of classes meet at the Recreation Center and will then go to Worthen Park.
Parents are required to attend and participate at each class.

Start Smart Basketball

This parent/child event is designed for children 4-6 years old and their parents. The program consists of six 1-hour sessions at the Recreation Center. The Start Smart Basketball program will familiarize children with basketball in a fun, non-threatening environment. The program teaches children a variety of basketball skills including: dribbling, passing, shooting and agility. Basketballs will be provided. Parents are required to attend and participate at each session!
