| The Quail Creek Water Treatment Plant takes water from Quail Lake and/or the Virgin River. The QCWTP is a 20 MGD plant that uses conventional filtration for treatment, along with chlorination for disinfection. Lab tests are run daily on certain chemical parameters and weekly bacteriological tests are run to ensure that the quality of the water meets all State and Federal health standards.
