Notify Power dispatch at 627-4835:
- When there is any foreign material in power lines.
- When you see fluid leaking from transformers.
- When there is a power pole leaning excessively
- If you have a street light that goes off and on in the night, this
indicates the light is burned out.
- If you see a red or green light is out at the semi-fores.
- If you see a line hanging too low or on the ground. ( do not attempt
to go close to any line hanging until qualified city personnel has inspected)
- If you see an accident involving a power pole, transformer (green
box). (if the accident involves either of these and you see a line down
(Do not get out of your vehicle...there may be potential for electrocution).

- Ever get near an open transformer or switch ( green boxes).
- Fly a kite near a power line.
- Use an electrical apparatus in or near water.
- Ever insert a foreign object in an wall outlet.
- Ever insert any metal in a toaster that is plugged into a wall outlet.
- Ever use a power tool with a frayed cord or broken ground terminal
on plug.
- Ever go near an accident involving a power line or transformer stay
in your car (Possible Electrocution).
- Ever dig without calling Blue Stakes.
Please be very cautious when working around any electrical fixture or apparatus
as it only takes 1/10 of an amp to kill. If you have any questions call
