If you’re looking for plant material ideas visit The Garden at Tonaquint Park. The Garden is a demonstration garden showcasing several types of landscaping and plants. Educational literature is available at entrance to The Garden. Another place to visit is The Xetava Desert Arboretum. It is open to the public free of charge, located in the Kayenta desert community in Ivins Utah. Education regarding native plant life and plants appropriate for xeriscape gardening is a major focus of the Arboretum. Another focus of the Arboretum is to function as a resource for local residents who are wishing to use xeriscape landscaping but may be unfamiliar with desert plant life. The clearly labeled plants make it easy for people to spot a favorite plant and reference it for future planting.
