Kids Tips Brushing your teeth: If you brush your teeth twice a day, for three minutes each time, and leave the tap running while you're brushing, you'd use around five litres per minute. That's 10,950 litres or 73 bathfuls per year, per person. Just from cleaning your teeth! If you use a glass of water instead to rinse your mouth after brushing, you would only use 1,850 litres or 12 bathfuls per year, per person. Much better Kids, play the leaky game!
