OVERVIEW
Due to the growing transportation needs of motorists, bicycles and pedestrians at the I-15 and St. George Boulevard interchange (Milepost 8), the City of St. George and UDOT commissioned a study to evaluate capacity needs of the area for the next 30 years.
DESCRIPTION
The area of study includes St. George Boulvard from 700 East to River Road including the I-15/St. George Boulevard interchange with its on and off ramps. The bicycle and pedestrain study area consists of St. George Boulevard from 700 East to River Road, from St. George Blvd. to 700 South, from River Road to 700 East and from 700 South to St. George Blvd.
PROJECT UPDATES
June 13, 2013
This study is complete. UDOT has chosen the design-build team of Wadsworth Brothers, Wilson and Company and Creamer and Noble to design the "Divering Diamond" interchange. Construction will be complete by the end of the year. Project information can be found on the UDOT website www.udot.utah.gov |
