Comments
Many people will use the Southern Parkway to get back to St. George. Are the planned roads sufficient to handle the extra traffic?

Response
The City of St. George has recently updated its Master Transportation and Traffic Plan. The plan calls for widening of several existing roads and adding new ones in the Southeast quadrant of the city. The Southern Parkway and the Mall Drive Bridge are new routes that are expected to be in service by 2009. The widening of River Road, 3000 East, Brigham Road, 1450 South and Little Valley Road are all planned over the next five years. Improvements have also been identified on all of the St. George I-15 interchanges.
