  • What happened to the Mall Drive extension out to Washington fields? Very needed, especially with future airport.
  • We look forward to this help with traffic relief in the Washington fields area.


Response
Design of the new Mall Drive Bridge is well underway. A river crossing location has been identified and preliminary layout of connecting roads is complete. The plan calls for extension of Mall Drive from Riverside Drive to the Southeast across the Virgin River with a connection to 3000 East. The project schedule calls for design in 2007 and construction in 2008. The city is moving ahead to issue a bond this summer to pay for the proposed improvements.
