Water adjustment skills, fully submerging face, basic breath control.
No prerequisite required. |
Level II 4 to 5 years |
Front and back float, kicking, basic front and back crawl.Prerequisite:
successful completion on Level I. |
Level IIB 4 to 5 years |
Introduces basic skills to prepare student for independent movement |
Level III 4 to 6 years |
Beginning diving, refine front and back crawl, treading water. Prerequisite:
successful completion on Level II. |
Level IV 6 to 8 years |
Elementary backstroke, sidestroke, rhythmic breathing, treading
water. Prerequisite: successful completion on Level III. |
Level V 8 to 9 years |
Refine all strokes, learn diving skills from diving board, learn
basic competitive strokes. Prerequisite: successful completion
on Level IV. |
Level VI 9 to 10 years |
Refine all competitive strokes. Flip turns are introduced. Prerequisite:
successful completion on Level V. |
Level VII 10 to 12 years |
Build endurance in all strokes, learn conditioning principles and
basic life guarding skills. Prerequisite: successful completion
on Level VI. |
