Access Badge & Security
AIRPORT ACCESS BADGE
Airport access badges (Airport Issued ID Media) will only be issued to people with an operational need to have access. The following are examples of individuals who will require a badge:
- Employees who work on the airfield with established business
- Airline employees
- Hangar owners
- Aircraft owners with tie-down agreements with St. George Airport
- Contractors who are cleared to work on the airfield
Airport access badges (Airport Issued ID Media) will NOT be issued to the following individuals:
- Individuals with disqualifying criminal convictions (See FAQs for more info)
- Aircraft owners who tie-down with FBOs
- Service providers who need an escort to provide services to private hangars

All access and use of the airport is governed by the SGU Security Policies. If you have a badge or wish to apply for a badge you should familiarize yourself with these policies. Required documentation and information
Two of the following types of ID:
- Passport
- Driver's License
- Social Security Card
Please call to make an appointment with (435) 627-4081 to come out and fill out an application. You will make another appointment after your application has cleared the criminal history check to complete your airport training.
Badging Process
- Make an appointment (435)627-4081
- Come to the Airport Rescue and Fire Building to fill out the badge application
- Security will run a Criminal History Background Check
- Security will call you when your background check has cleared and have you make an appointment to be trained
- Complete all required training and receive your badge
Identification for Individuals born outside of the United States
If you were born outside of the United States please bring one or more of the following documents:
- Alien Registration Number
- Certificate of Naturalization
- D5-1350
- I-94 Document
- U.S. Passport
- Visa Document
In addition to one of the following:
- Driver's License
- Social Security Card

FOR CONTRACTORS
Badging requirements for Contractors
If you are a contractor or subcontractor working on a project at the airport you need to be aware of these things:
- Every person that will be working on a project must receive a badge
- Person's born outside of the United States sometimes take longer to clear the federal background check
- Contractors will be required to attend a preconstruction meeting with airport operations and security
