Vernon Worthen Tennis and Pickleball Courts will Closed for Court Renovation project between March 19th and June 1st.

10 & Under Tennis is an exciting new play format for learning children's tennis, designed to bring kids ages 10 and under into the game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring, all tailored to age and size with the balls and racquets, 10 and Under Tennis uses courts and nets scaled to the size and ability level of young children.

Children between the ages of 8 to 10 will play on a 60 foot court using orange low compressed balls. Levels 1 & 2

Children between the ages of 4 to 7 will play on a 36' by 18' foot court using orange low compressed balls. Levels 1 & 2

Class will be divided into age groups and levels.

Level 1: Is introductory to tennis, class will cover Forehand and Backhand groundstrokes, scoring, parts of the court and etiquette.

Level 2: Introduction to serving, and a continuation of level 1.
Level 2 is an ongoing class All players must go through the level 1 unless they have played before and has the instructors approval.
