| Calling all Greenies! Come join us this weekend for a new Saturday Morning Exploration program at Tonaquint Nature Center! This month we are going to explore the surrounding environment and discover ways we can become more “green”. Whether you are a first-rate conservationist, or just starting to recycle, come join us on Saturday, October 11th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. This family-centered program is free of charge and lasts approximately one hour. Come join the fun and you’ll see- it’s so easy to go green! |

Efficient Irrigation Design I: Designing Lawn Irrigation |

In the first hour you will learn the basics of an irrigation system design. Learn to talk the lingo and recognize potential irrigation problem areas. Attendees will be provided instructions on how to read an irrigation plan, common errors made in designs and what you can do to protect your investment. The remaining time will be spent demonstrating turf varieties and what is best suitable for your needs and how to have a lush lawn without a high water bill.
