Teams and Delegations: Credentials passes are mandatory for entrance into the complex. Please make sure that all of your players and staff are carrying their credentials at all times. Credentials are only for rostered players, coaching staff and designated College staff. Spectators will not be issued credentials passes.
Coach’s packets (including team credentials passes) will be delivered to each team’s assigned hotel prior to their arrival
PLEASE REVIEW ALL CONTENTS OF YOUR COACH’S PACKETS BEFORE YOUR FIRST PRACTICE AS IT PROVIDES IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION, INCLUDING DIRECTIONS TO THE CANYONS AND AWARDS BANQUET LOCATION.

First aid will be available at the park for all participants and spectators. Even though all team athletes are covered by Bollinger Insurance for injuries sustained during a game, all visitors, teams and athletes must have personal insurance and carry that information with them at all times ***Please refer to Facility Site Plan for First Aid Station Location***
Game statistics and live stats will be provided for the games and will also be posted on the St. George Recreation website at www.stgeorgenjcaaworldseries.com
Hospitality will be provided for coaches, college administration, umpires and NJCAA delegates throughout the tournament. Media and Recruiters hospitality passes are available for pre-purchase for $49, which includes unlimited access to the hospitality suite all three days of the tournament. The deadline for purchasing the pass is May 10, 2012
Hospital facilities including x-rays are within 6.4 miles of The Canyons complex:
Directions: From the complex, head east on Snow Canyon Parkway to Bluff Street. Turn right on Bluff Street and drive 2.8 miles south to 700 South. Turn left on 700 South and drive 1.6 miles to River Road. Turn left on River Road and drive 0.3 miles to hospital on your right.
The official tournament ball will be provided by Dudley.
Spectators will not be permitted on game fields at any time. Only those with approved Media Credentials passes will be granted access to game fields.
The diamonds are made of Hilltopper infields and grassed outfields. The fence distances are set at 210 feet from home plate. The outfield fence height is 6 feet.
A highlight of the 2012 NJCAA Division I Softball National Championship tournament is our Pre-Tournament Skills Clinic where local youth softball players will have the opportunity to further develop their playing skills through interaction with National Championship Tournament players. Each tournament team will be required to provide 4 players who will serve as clinicians. A special feature of the clinic will be our special guest clinician, Crystl Bustos, a 3 time Olympic Medalist. This clinic provides an opportunity to encourage local youth softball players and our community to develop relationships with the teams and the NJCAA National Championship Softball Tournament that will last for years to come
When a game is underway and it starts to rain/snow, only the umpire can suspend the game. Suspended games are continued from the point of when the play was suspended. The official scorebook should have the point of suspension, outs, etc. recorded.
In the event of a rain delay or game suspension due to weather, or any other reason, spectators and fans holding a valid wristband ticket must present that wristband ticket for admission to the rescheduled game. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded for any dollar value.
Team photos and game action photos will be available for purchase on site from the Official NJCAA Tournament Photographer
The Official Full Color Souvenir Tournament Program, including team photos and tournament game schedule, will be available for purchase on site at a cost of $12
Teams are required to bring both home and away uniforms to the National Tournament.
