A highlight of the 2012 NJCAA Division I Softball National Championship tournament is our Pre-Tournament Skills Clinic on Wednesday, May 16th from 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM at The Canyon’s Complex. Local youth softball players will have the opportunity to further develop their playing skills through interaction with National Championship Tournament players. Each tournament team will be required to provide 4 players who will serve as clinicians. A special feature of the clinic will be our special guest clinician, Crystl Bustos, a 3 time Olympic Medalist. This clinic provides an opportunity to encourage local youth softball players and our community to develop relationships with the teams and the NJCAA National Championship Softball Tournament that will last for years to come.
The welcome banquet will be held at The Dixie Center at 1835 S. Convention Center Drive in St. George on May 16th at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $10 each for players, coaches and college administrators. Family, friends and fans are invited to attend the banquet. Seating is limited and extra seats cannot be guaranteed. Tickets are available through pre-purchase through May 10, 2012. Adults 15years of age & older - $25 pre-order or $35 at the door; Children 14 years of age and younger - $9.50 pre-order or $13.50 at the door.

The Flag Ceremony will be held in the center quad of the Canyon’s Complex at 9:50 AM before the start of the first round of games.
Closing Ceremonies will take place on May 20th immediately following the final round of play at The Canyon's complex.
Trophies will be presented to First, Second and Third place teams. Appropriate gold and silver medals, approved by the National Junior College Athletic Association will be presented to the members of each team.
