Walking Program For Elementary Schools
PILOT PROGRAM APRIL 1 - 30, 2008
Participating Schools include:
Coral Cliffs Elementary School
Red Mountain Elementary School
George Washington Academy
East Elementary School
Trinity Lutheran School
Sand Stone Elementary School
REWARD CATEGORY
There will be a 1st place winner from k-2nd grade and 3-5th grade from each pilot school.
Each winning classroom receives a reward basket full of gift cards and donated items for the class and the students.
PROGRAM SUMMARY
Mayor McArthur will walk at each of the pilot schools throughout the challenge.
At the half-way point, each of the schools will report their mileage and it will be posted on the website.
An award ceremony will be hosted in May 2008.
