St. George Half Marathon, 5K & Tuff Kids Run - Event # 14

Description:	PRESENTED BY NORDIC TRACK Registration: REGISTRATION STILL AVAILABLE AT THE EXPO ONLY, AFTER WEDNESDAY 1/16/13 at 6:00pm, WITH NO T-SHIRT AVAILABLE!! Runners will run along the scenic St. George City trail system. Check website for updated course map @ www.sgcityrec.org. The race will be held Saturday, January 19 starting at 9:00 am. Registration deadline is Friday, January 11 @ 6pm; Late registration accepted until Wednesday, January 16 @ Noon with an additional $10 fee. Shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed to runners who register after the January 11th deadline. American Flyers Race Pacers is proud to help pace the following times at Snow Canyon Half Marathon: 1:25, 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, and 2:30. Come see the pacing booth at packet pickup come get a pace band even if you don't think you'll be by a pacer. The website says the fee for the race is $45 but when I click on �register now� the price is $55 dollars. What is the discrepancy?
The fee listed on register now includes the $10 late fee and the convenience fee for registering online. When you check out you will receive a $10 discount on your race fee as long as it is before the registration deadline. If it is after the registration deadline the cost will be $55 plus the conve

Is the course walker friendly?
Yes, to a certain point. The course will close at 3 hours and 30 minutes which is a 16:00 minute per mile pace!

Are ipods or MP3 players allowed on the course?
They are discouraged because the course is an open course at parts, but they are allowed. Just BE CAREFUL!!

Can I bring my baby stroller out on the course?
Baby Strollers are allowed on the course as long as you are respectful and courteous to the other runners around you by starting near the back of the race.

Will clothing retrieval be provided?
Clothing retrieval will be provided. It will be available at the starting line and at each of the aid stations. Clothing will be brought back to the finish line area for retrieval.

What type of shirt will I be getting?
Generally, participants will receive a long sleeve tech shirt. There are men�s and women�s sizes available. Tuff Kids� participants will receive a T-shirt. Youth sizes are available. This is subject to change.
