NOTICE INVITING GENERAL CONTRACTORS
TO PREQUALIFY TO BID
RECEIPT OF PREQUALIFICATION INFORMATION. Bowen, Collins & Associates located at 756 East 12200 South, Draper, Utah 84020, in behalf of the City of St. George, will accept Prequalification Information from contractors interested in bidding on the St. George Water Reclamation Facility Water Reuse Project. Bids will only be accepted from those General Contractors that are prequalified by the OWNER . No other General Contractors will be eligible to bid on this Project.
GENERAL CONTRACTORS. The prequalification procedure will select and prequalify General Contractors to bid the construction of the Water Reuse Project.
TENATIVE PROJECT SCHEDULE. The tentative project schedule is as follows:
Pre-qualification documents available January 3, 2005
Pre-qualification proposals due January 18, 2005
Notification of qualified contractors January 21, 2005
Project Advertisement and Bidding January 26, 2005 to
February 15, 2005
Project Construction March 2005 to
September 2005
DESCRIPTION OF WORK. The WORK comprises the construction of the new Water Reuse Facility with all appurtenances for the City of St. George. The Reuse Facility will include construction of a filter building, including supplying and installation of traveling bridge filters and all necessary appurtenances. The WORK also includes construction of a contact basin, chemical feed equipment, and reuse pump station. Necessary yard piping, effluent pipelines, instrumentation and control equipment, and associated facilities are included in the WORK.
OBTAINING CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS. The documents are entitled, “Contractor Prequalification Documents for Construction of the St. George Water Reclamation Facility Water Reuse Project”. Prequalification documents may be obtained at the office of Bowen, Collins & Associates located at 756 East 12200 South, Draper, Utah 84020 or at the office of the City of St. George located at 175 East
200 North, St. George Utah, 84770 (Purchasing Department - Inquiry No. 05-1789).
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION. All communications relative to this WORK shall be directed to the ENGINEER prior to submittal of the Prequalification Information:
