PUBLIC NOTICE Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Tonaquint Park Intersection Relocation Project, Inquiry No. 12-0008. Bids must be submitted by Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 2:00 PM, to the City of St. George, Purchasing Department, at 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, 84770. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of St. George, Attn: Connie Hood, CPPO, Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Department, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah 84770. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside Tonaquint Park Intersection Relocation Project, Inquiry No. 12-0008. A site visit and mandatory pre-bid conference for Bidders will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 10:00 AM at Tonaquint Park, 1851 S. Dixie Drive in St. George, Utah. The Bid includes furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services to relocate the roadway entrance to Tonaquint Park including modifying the existing traffic signal at 600 West and Dixie Drive, installing roadway and parking elements (pavement section, curb and gutter, storm drainage), removing existing improvements, installing landscaping/irrigation improvements, and realigning a paved trail. A fee of $50.00 is required for hard copies of each set. Electronic copies are available for a reduced fee of $10.00 per set. As required by St. George City Code 1-10B-14 a signed certificate of legal work status must accompany the BID.
