Sealed bids will be received for the landscape construction of the BLOOMINGTON INTERCHANGE, located at Exit 4 on Interstate 15 in St. George, Utah. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 p.m., MST, May 31, 2011 to the City of St. George, Purchasing Department, at 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, 84770. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of St. George, Attn: Connie Hood, CPPO, Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Department, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah 84770. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside BID #11-0010 BLOOMINGTON INTERCHANGE.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit at the City of St. George Millcreek Facility which is located at 390 North 3050 East St. George, Utah 84790 on May 23, 2011 at 9:00 am, MST.
The BID includes the construction of colored concrete paving, installation of landscape materials, and irrigation.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the City of St. George Purchasing Department, 175 East 200 North St. George, Utah 84770. Contract Documents will also be available at the following locations:

A non-refundable fee of $35.00 per set of Contract Documents is required. Make checks payable to City of St. George.
The 100% performance – labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming the City of St. George as oblige, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George.
As required by St. George City Code 1-10B-14 a signed certificate of legal work status must accompany the BID.
City of St. George reserves the right to reject any, or all bids, or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid, in the interest of the City.
