PUBLIC NOTICE
Sealed bids will be received by City of St. George, Purchasing Department, (hereinafter called the “OWNER”), at 175 East 200 North, St. George, UT, 84770 until Monday, March 21, 2011 at 3 pm and then publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of St. George, Purchasing Department at 175 East 200 North, St. George, UT 84770, Attn: Connie Hood, CPPB, Purchasing Manager. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as St. George Municipal City Pool re-plaster project.
The BID includes the re-plaster of the swimming pool which includes the main tank, the baby pool and the slide catch pool. The re-plastering project includes removal of existing plaster off of the gunnite shell and a complete re-plaster of the pools as detailed below. Each BID must also contain a detailed description of how the bidder will repair any cracks in the gunnite pool shells and a detailed description of how the bidder will repair the leak which is occurring where the hydrotube slide enters the catch pool. Bid requires respondents to hold Swimming Pool and Spa Contractors license S380. There will be a pre-bid mandatory on site meeting at the City Municipal Swimming Pool 250 East, 700 South St. George Utah at 1:00 p.m., March 15, 2011.
Re-Plaster of St. George City Municipal Pool
This work shall consist of removal of existing plaster to gunnite shell for the baby pool, the slide catch pool and the main swimming pool, repair of any cracks to shell of pools, replacement of underwater pool lighting and renovation of specified water leakage at the slide catch pool. Complete the re-plaster of the three pools.
