Police Events Red Light Violations Special teams of officers are targeting problem intersections throughout the month of December in an effort to reduce the number of crashes at these intersections caused by those who fail to stop for the red light. There will be a spotter and several chase cars to enable us to get to the violators going either direction. Several intersections will be targeted during the day with focus on peak traffic times such as the hours before and after work and during the lunch hours from 11 to 2 pm.
